CUOS Media (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This DMCA Policy explains the process for reporting copyright infringements and how we respond to such claims. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on our website without authorization, please follow the instructions below to file a complaint.

CUOS Media allows user-submitted content, but all users must first email us and adhere to our content submission guidelines before publication. Additionally, we source external content and ensure proper fact-checking and attribution.

Content We Publish

CUOS Media ensures clarity and proper crediting in publishing content. Our content falls into two categories:

Original Content

  • Articles and stories developed by our editorial team.
  • These are stand-alone, fact-checked, and thoroughly researched.
  • Each original work contains the following statement:
“© CUOS Media – This content is original and created by our team. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.”

Copy Content (Researched from Other Sources)

  • Some content is sourced from external websites but is carefully examined, fact-checked, and rewritten to ensure quality.
  • These articles always acknowledge the source at the end with the following statement:
“Source: example.com – All rights belong to the original publisher.”

Content Review & Decision Process

CUOS Media has an internal content review team that carefully examines all copyright infringement claims before taking action. If a valid DMCA request is received, we may:

  • Temporarily remove or restrict access to the reported content.
  • Investigate the claim thoroughly to ensure no false accusations are made.
  • Provide the content creator an opportunity to respond through a counter-notification.

Repeat Infringer Policy

CUOS Media follows a strict Repeat Infringer Policy. If a user is found repeatedly violating copyrights, we reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate their access to CUOS Media.
  • Restrict their ability to post content in the future.
  • Report serious violations to legal authorities if necessary.

Legal Considerations

  • Filing a false DMCA notice or counter-notification may result in legal consequences, including liability for damages and legal fees.
  • CUOS Media reserves the right to review all claims carefully and may take action based on legal guidelines and our own discretion.
  • We may restore removed content if a valid counter-notification is received, unless the original complainant files a legal action against the user.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of CUOS Media after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
